I had the amazing opportunity to work with Shayna for her senior portraits and I ADORE the final results! Shayna is a senior at Champlin Park this year and I’ve actually known her and her family since she was a toddler! Shayna’s older sister, Brianna, was in girl scouts with me from Kindergarten to 5th grade. Needless to say, when Shayna messaged me on Instagram saying she wanted me to take her senior photos, I was ECSTATIC.
It’s so fun working with seniors and their families when I’ve already known them for so long. Shayna’s senior session was in the morning, so we started hair and makeup at 6am! I am so glad I had my coffee! 😴My makeup artist, Caitlin, did a FANTASTIC job with Shayna. She literally looked like a supermodel. 🤩
Our first location was the Stone Arch Bridge (I ONLY shoot here in the mornings, because it is a crazy busy location). I didn’t even realize this at the time, but Shayna’s outfit matched PERFECTLY when the railings and lights on the bridge. We did some full sun images and they turned out flawless! I hardly had to direct Shayna during her session, because she just KNEW how to pose. We also added a super cute hat as an accessory to add more variety to her images.
Our second location was Boom Island Park. Shayna’s outfits here were adorable! We got some really nice movement images and also added some fun variety with sunglasses.
Overall, Shayna’s session was BEAUTIFUL! I can’t wait to see where she goes in life (hopefully in modeling?) 🤭Check out some of my favorites from Shayna’s senior portrait session below!
